We love Sumner County and we’re sure you do too! We want to take this moment to introduce ourselves and give you more information about why we are becoming one church in two locations.
My name is Ed Stetzer and I am the lead pastor of Grace Church. We will be launching a second campus in Gallatin on Sunday, October 6 at 11:00am. Our mission as a church is to know and share God’s story with our neighbors and the nations.
First, let me say we are planting a new church in Gallatin because the vast majority of people in this community do not attend church on a given Sunday. Actually, according to the American Church Research Project, 80% of Sumner County stays home from church on a given Sunday. Maybe you are one of those people. Perhaps you have given up on church. You have attended church before and were not able to find a place, understand the message clearly, or connect with the people there. Our desire is to be a place where the un-churched, the formerly churched, and those who are interested to learn more about God can connect with new friends, learn about God and His plan, and grow together spiritually.
The obvious question is, what kind of church is Grace Church going to be? Well, we are a church of Christians, passionate about God and His plan for men and women. We will be a family of imperfect people seeking to learn and grow in our knowledge of God, one another, and His plan for ourselves and for the world.
We invite you to join us at our grand opening on Sunday, October 6 at 11:00am. Our Gallatin campus is located at 901 Long Hollow Pike, next to Howard Elementary School. You and your family will enjoy live preaching, a worship band and kids programs.
